IRVINE, Calif., March 1 -- Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) today reported sales of 23,580 vehicles in February -- a 13.0 percent increase versus the same period last year.
Mazda's strong February was led by impressive sales of its popular MAZDA3 and sporty MAZDA6. MAZDA3 reported sales of 7,536 units, accounting for a 7.0 percent increase versus last year, while MAZDA6 jumped 12.0 percent to 6,818 units sold.

The U.S. Endurance Racing Association (USERA) announced that the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. is posting a product contingency program worth $17,600 for the 2006 Championship season of the USERA Spec Miata Endurance Championship.
The contingency program will provide four free tires to teams running Goodyear tires that come in first, second and third places.
